Whitefriars Housing

Date: 2014-03-02  Sector: Housing

As Coventry’s largest social housing landlord and part of the larger WM Housing Group, Whitefriars Housing was actively working towards a waste minimisation strategy to responsibly reduce the organisation’s impact on the wider environment. Part of the strategy included the waste hierarchy and Whitefriars was seeking to destroy all of its waste paper via a secure shredding process thereby diverting it away from the normal commercial waste stream and away from landfill.

The Solution
Russell Richardson & Sons were contracted to provide a regular onsite shredding service to all 10 sites across Coventry.
