Russell Richardson is now a FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) certified company. The company’s latest accreditation was awarded following a formal audit that found the fleet operations at the specialist shredding company met all the criteria set out in the FORS standards.
FORS is a voluntary certification, recognising fleet operations which comply with the requirements of the FORS standard. The FORS standard is based upon lawfulness, safety, efficiency, and environmental protection and covers management, vehicles, drivers and operations.
FORS certification proves that as a fleet operator, Russell Richardson works to standards above the legal minimum.
Jonathan Richardson, managing director at Russell Richardson, said: “The FORS certification gives us peace of mind that we are meeting our legislative requirements, as well as helping to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Our vehicle operations standards have always been high and we are committed to become safer, greener and more efficient. By gaining the accreditation we can show existing and potential clients that we are a high performing operator who adheres to high quality standards.”
