The community shred-in organised by secure shredding specialists, Russell Richardson at Bledington, Gloucestershire has raised over £130 for the village hall funds.
The Shred-in event, which took place on Thursday 18 September gave local residents and small business owners the chance to get together and enjoy the refreshments while their documents were securely shredded in the Russell Richardson mobile shredding vehicle by service operative, Simon Lawler.
The Russell Richardson shredder stayed on-site at Bledington between 9.30am and 1.30pm, shredding 52 sacks of documents before taking the shredded paper away for recycling.
Russell Richardson’s Security Specialist, Matthew Elliott was also available at the event to offer advice and tips on staying protected against ID theft.
“The event was a great success and I’m pleased we were able to contribute valuable funds to the village hall and importantly keep the community safe from the constant threat of ID theft,” said Matthew.
