Save the date - what you really need to know about GDPR

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - Everyone is talking about it, we know all businesses need to prepare for the regulation change, but what do we really need to be doing to be ready by May 2018?

On Thursday 21st September, 2017 at The Quadrant Business Centre, Sheffield, Russell Richardson are hosting an event to answer the above. This morning is intended to be full of practical advice (strictly no sales pitches) and give delegates the opportunity to gather all the information they need on GDPR.

Regulation expert Matt Bruce, from Bruce + Butler will be explaining the regulation changes and what they mean for your business. Covering the essentials, with no scare mongering or sales pitches, Matt will give an overview of GDPR and provide the answers to any questions you have regarding the regulation changes.

Cyber security from the other side - what you REALLY need to know.

Detective Chief Inspector Vanessa Smith is head of the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Cyber Unit. Drawing on her expertise and experience dealing with real cases of cyber crime, DCI Smith's fascinating and interactive presentation is packed full of useful information and tips for keeping your business cybersecure.

Along with the above speakers, representatives from Russell Richardson will be on hand to answer any questions on physical data security, storage and destruction.
