On Monday 5th December, Sheffield Children’s Hospital was lit up for Christmas at the annual snowflake switch on ceremony. Representatives from local businesses gathered to see their company name light up beside their snowflake, with Russell Richardson proud to be part of the celebration.
A total of £120,678 has been raised for The Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity this Christmas through local businesses sponsoring the snowflakes on the hospital.
“We’ve supported The Children’s Hospital Charity for the last two years with our charity shredding service and are thrilled to have one of the iconic snowflakes on the side of the building this Christmas,” said Jonathan Richardson, managing director at Russell Richardson. “It’s important to remember the children and families who will be spending time at the hospital over Christmas and we’re pleased to be able to make the hospital that bit brighter for them. With just four specialist children’s hospitals in the country, we’re lucky to have one in our city and will continue our support through 2017.”
Russell Richardson have raised over £3,500 for charity during 2016 by shredding confidential documents for individuals in return for a charity donation. Click here to find out more.
