Russell Richardson’s new archive storage facility in Sheffield is almost ready to start receiving boxes as the new racking was delivered on site this week and is now being installed.
The premises, based in the Waleswood area of the city were fully secured last week as a new, monitored, state of the art CCTV system was installed at the site to ensure the physical security of the 25,000 archive boxes that will be stored there.
Keeping track of the 25,000 boxes will be the O’Neil software, with each box barcoded and logged on to the system for accurate location tracking at all times. Through the software, customers will be able to track and trace their own records using the Russell Richardson portal.
“When we looked to expand the archiving facilities at Russell Richardson it was important we got everything right before taking in any more boxes,” said Jonathan Richardson, Managing Director at Russell Richardson. “With these premises and the facilities we now have in place, we can offer customers a totally secure and safe document storage solution.”
